Schedule 16 May

• 12:00 PM: Arrival of guests at Hotel Ambasciatori, Via L. Alamanni 3, Florence (in front of Santa Maria Novella Station). Guests arriving by car can park at the “La Stazione” Garage, Via L. Alamanni 3/A. Registration, administrative formalities, and a light lunch.
• 1:00 PM: Briefing with instructors on activities, safety regulations, and the fleet.
• 1:30 PM: Departure for the Road Tour from the “La Stazione” Garage. The route will follow wonderful and less-traveled roads through Val d’Elsa, the Metalliferous Hills, and Maremma, covering approximately 160 km to reach Piombino.
• 4:00 PM: Arrival at the Port of Piombino and embarkation.
• 5:00 PM: Arrival at Hotel Biodola, Elba Island, and free time.
• 7:30 PM: Aperitif and dinner on the panoramic terrace.

Schedule 17 May

• 9:30 AM: Departure for the Road Tour around the Island of Elba: the route will cover the entire perimeter of the western area for approximately 80 km. The journey features breathtaking views and wonderful roads overlooking the sea (see map above).
• 12:00 PM: Arrival at Le Ripalte Wine Resort. Visit to the winery and lunch at the Villa.
• 2:30 PM: Departure for the Road Tour towards Porto Ferraio and embarkation.
• 6:00 PM: Arrival at the “La Stazione” Garage in Florence and end of activities. The return will follow the S.S. Aurelia highway and the Florence – Pisa – Livorno expressway.

Tour Methodology

The event is structured for pairs of participants. Each participant will be paired with another, sharing the experience and driving. A single participant can choose to drive each vehicle alone by paying the double fee.
All 9 cars from Casals Motorsport will be available, accommodating a total of 18 participants. Along the route, there will be 8 stops to ensure that each participant drives every vehicle.
The convoy will be led and followed by two cars with professional instructors in radio communication, and the tour will be conducted in a leisurely manner, in full compliance with the Highway Code.

The Locations

Hotel Ambasciatori (Welcome at departure)

A strategic location just a few steps from Santa Maria Novella station will be the first meeting point of our tour.
In the chic and elegant bar area on the first floor, guests will meet the Casals Motorsport staff and enjoy a carefully prepared light lunch before departing for the Road Tour.

Garage “La Stazione” (Tour Departure and Arrival)

The ‘La Stazione’ Garage adjacent to the Hotel Ambasciatori will be our departure and arrival point.
It is also convenient for those arriving in Florence with their own car, offering 24-hour surveillance and charging stations for electric vehicles. All parking spaces are covered.

Hotel Biodola (Overnight stay and dinner)

Hotel Biodola is located in a magnificent corner of Elba, the only place where the rare Biodolo plant grows. It is a 4-star hotel known for its high-quality services and cuisine inspired by Tuscan flavors and the great Italian culinary tradition.
The large panoramic terrace will host the sunset aperitif, while the poolside restaurant will be the venue for the Tour participants’ dinner.
The rooms reflect the blue of the bay and the green of the Mediterranean nature. There is also a private 9-hole golf course.
In the hotel’s garden, the pure white flowers of the Biodolo still bloom.

Tenuta le Ripalte (Winery tour and lunch)

Fattoria delle Ripalte, in the heart of the Island of Elba, is dedicated to the production of high-quality Tuscan products. It boasts a wine production of thousands of bottles every year.
The building housing the Tenuta delle Ripalte Winery is a modern wine temple, perfectly integrated into the unique and wild natural setting of the Island of Elba. The architectural design is by renowned Italian architect Tobia Scarpa.
Tour participants will have the opportunity to visit the winery with a guide, taste a glass of wine on the winery’s terrace, and enjoy an exclusive lunch in one of the villas on the estate, offering a breathtaking view of the Tuscan Archipelago.
